How do Rapid Push-On Pneumatic Fittings Work?

Another solution for the connection of flexible tubes is the version defined as rapid push on fitting.

We still have the thread with the Teflon Sprint, and the body of the fitting. But instead of the push in feature, we have a cone and a ring nut to secure the tube to the fitting.

The tube must have a defined internal and external diameter in order to be introduced into the appropriate cone and then closed with the ring nut. It can be tightened either manually or with a spanner even with stiff tubes.

What are the benefits of Rapid Push-On Pneumatic Fittings?

The main advantages for this kind of model, are that except for swivel models or where gaskets may be present, performance is generally limited by the type of tube used. This fitting does not have any limits when it comes to temperature or pressure.
